The drive
TX-114 is the road. From Trophy Club you come down through the TX-114 interchange and turn onto E Southlake Blvd, the road that carries the FM 1709 designation. From Westlake you are already on the TX-114 frontage for most of the trip.
Westlake is a small town with a large daytime population, because several corporate campuses sit on the TX-114 corridor there. A patient making this trip in the middle of a workday is usually coming from a desk a few minutes away rather than from home, and our weekday opening covers that.
What the visit involves
X-rays are taken in the Southlake office and you review them with Dr. Knight minutes later, in the same visit. For someone stepping out of a workday, that is the difference between one appointment and three.
If the exam points to something an X-ray will not show, an MRI or other advanced imaging is done at an imaging facility a few blocks from the office and the results come back to Dr. Knight. Where the diagnosis is not clear from the exam, Dr. Knight will arrange nerve testing and tell you where it is done.
If an operation is the answer, surgery is performed at Legent Hospital in Plano, Texas.
