Which office serves Grapevine, and the drive
Southlake. The office sits on E Southlake Blvd, the road that carries the FM 1709 designation, and Grapevine shares its northern boundary with Southlake, so this is a short local drive rather than a run across the Metroplex.
Grapevine and Southlake are close enough that patients from the two cities share the same roads. Coming from Historic Main Street or from the Grapevine Mills side of town, you are on either TX-114 or TX-121 for part of the trip and then on E Southlake Blvd to the office. Coming from the neighbourhoods north of Lake Grapevine you approach from the north side of FM 1709.
Grapevine is also the city where the practice's catchment overlaps with the airport corridor. Patients coming off DFW International, which sits on Grapevine's southern edge, and patients working the hotel and conference strip along TX-114 are reaching the Southlake office from the same direction.
What the visit involves
The Southlake office has X-rays in the building. X-rays are taken there and you review them with Dr. Knight minutes later, in the same visit, rather than going somewhere else and coming back.
If the exam points to something an X-ray will not show, an MRI or other advanced imaging is done at an imaging facility a few blocks away and the results come back to Dr. Knight. Where the diagnosis is not clear from the exam, Dr. Knight will arrange nerve testing and tell you where it is done.
If an operation is the answer, surgery is performed at Legent Hospital in Plano, Texas. That is a longer drive than the office visit and it is worth knowing before you book rather than after.
