Rancho Cucamonga

The Hand and Wrist Institute at Rancho Cucamonga

The Rancho Cucamonga treatment facility was created in response to the limited availability of hand and upper extremity surgeons in the area. Conveniently located in the heart of the Inland Empire, the Rancho Cucamonga treatment center provides services for patients in San Bernardino County and other regions in Southern California.

Our premier surgeon, Dr. Knight has an extensive resume as one the country’s leading hand and wrist specialists. Together with his staff at the Hand and Wrist Institute, we are pleased to provide the same state-of-the-art services our patients enjoy in Beverly Hills. We pride ourselves on our patient focused, world class approach to treatment. We would like to welcome the residents of Rancho Cucamonga to experience the difference our compassionate care can make for those suffering with acute or chronic ailments of the hand, wrist, and arm.

The Office

Our highly skilled team of medical professionals have created a calm and comfortable office environment to promote healing and recovery. The Rancho Cucamonga satellite is strategically located midway between Los Angeles and Palm Springs so clients can easily make appointments near home or work. Cutting edge Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software ensures that no matter which location you visit, Dr. Knight and his staff can quickly review your chart which ultimately improves the quality of care you receive. The EMR provides instant access to your medical records, including digital diagnostic images, blood work, medical notes and medications, all at the touch of a button.

Our Technique

At the Hand and Wrist Institute we believe that collaboration is paramount in achieving successful outcomes. Our physicians begin by gathering a detailed history and review of symptoms from each patient. Physical examination and diagnostic tests are then completed to reach a definitive diagnosis. If needed, we can perform electro-diagnostic testing onsite, with MRI or CT imaging completed in a nearby facility. This means less running around and hassle for our patients.

As a team, Dr. Knight works with our clients in order to develop a treatment plan to fit the individual’s needs and lifestyle. Conservative treatment often begins with education. Interventions may include pain management, splinting, immobilization, and physical or occupational therapy to improve overall function of the extremity.
The thought of surgery can be overwhelming for some. At the Hand and Wrist Institute we specialize in minimally invasive procedures leading to decreased pain and recovery time. Overall, this results in an improved patient experience. In fact, many operations can be performed on an outpatient basis which means our clients return home the same day.

At the Hand and Wrist Institute we focus on the individual. Each client has unique concerns and we respect that. Our patient-centered collaborative approach ensures that we find the right treatment plan to suit your needs and lifestyle.
