Pasadena Office

The Hand and Wrist Institute in Beverly Hills was the first location we opened and we now offer services in Rancho Cucamonga, Newport Beach and West Hills. Now we’re opening a new office in Pasadena to better serve our patients who need diagnosis and treatment of hand and upper extremity disorders. Like all of our offices, you can expect to receive fast, efficient service and compassionate, high-quality care.

About Dr. Knight

Dr. Knight is one of the most prominent hand and wrist specialists in the area. Trained at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine, he completed a hand and upper extremity fellowship and has more than 25 years of experience. He is board certified in orthopedics and holds an additional certification in hand surgery. Dr. Knight is also skilled in procedures like joint replacement in the hands, reconstructive surgery of the elbow, wrist and hand and replantation of severed digits. He was one of the first Southern orthopedic surgeons to perform a successful to-thumb transplant nearly a year after the original injury, allowing the patient to return to his career in the oil fields.

The Doctor’s Visit

We offer conservative (non-surgical) care as well as surgical management. The first step in your care will be an assessment appointment with Dr. Knight. You may have X-rays prior to the appointment and those will be waiting in electronic form. Dr. Knight will perform a physical examination, review the X-rays with you and enter all of his findings, recommendations and the plan of care in our electronic medical record (EMR) system. The calm and comfortable office provides a healing environment with an efficient work-flow. Our patient-focused, collaborative approach to management and treatment makes you a full partner in your care and the decision-making process. Among our other services, we provide a free interactive tool on our website to help you understand your symptoms or injury.

Our Services

We offer minimally invasive procedures, such as stitchless carpal tunnel release, advanced wrist arthroscopy, trigger finger release, cyst removal and non-surgical treatments like physical therapy, splints, braces or other conservative care. Minimally invasive procedures mean less physical trauma, more efficient care and minimal downtime for you as well as a shorter recovery time. We have access to MRI and other advanced imaging techniques and can perform specialized testing such as electrodiagnostic tests and other state-of-the-art care. Should you need care in one of our other facilities for some reason, the EMR and all of your information are readily available.

We chose to open this new office to help meet the need for hand and wrist services in the Pasadena area. Multiple offices offer patients greater convenience, which is beneficial to those with busy schedules. Please contact us today for more information about our new office or to schedule an appointment with Dr. Knight.
